Our prompt boxes are a fantastic way to strengthen young writers’ skills…and are perfect for independent use, small groups and writing centres! Each level includes 98-100 prompt cards that provide focused practice with 3 different writing styles: narrative, informative/explanatory and opinion/argument. The cards feature step-by-step instructions and easy-to-follow writing prompts, so kids can easily complete the writing activities on their own and get experience with everything from the pre-writing process and gathering ideas to grouping related information into paragraphs. Each set comes in a storage box with tabbed dividers, a wooden display stand & a rubric for evaluating student work. Cards measure 8" x 8".
