20 African-American individuals that you might be familiar with, and then again, might not. They dedicated their lives to making a difference. Inspire students to stand up for what they believe, equality, respect for others, and understanding. The presentation may be done as a 3 part nomenclature or as a Who Am I activity. Discover how our world is different today because of their contributions. To quote John F. Kennedy "One man can make a difference, and everyone should try!" These brave men and women faced the odds, overcame the racism, discrimination and obstacles they faced and came out victorious. How will your students get inspired?
